Reading Kurt Richebacher's thoughts on your site has been a bright spot in my life, explaining what we see, and how it comes about. Your essay introduced details of his life that I never knew. While he was not mainstream by any means, his observations were dead on as were his predictions. While he is dead, his contribution to Austrian economics will live on and be passed to great people in the future who may as yet, not even been born. A greater part of our legacy is what we pass to the future. Still we will miss him.

When wise men say the obvious, many people become deaf. Charlatans and wizards exist to fill man's need for fantasy and games. Dr. Kurt is dead, long live Dr Kurt!

Thank you for this essay and the information on Richebächer. I found it very informative and, actually, quite inspiring. My wife and I certainly are not in your target demographic of readers, but we're young and we strive to get there by reigning in our spending, paying off our debts, and saving and investing.
